I-95 North delayed in Virginia

8:30 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-95 North in Lorton is blocking the right lane and right shoulder. There are delays on I-95 North approaching this spot and en route to the Springfield Interchange.

I-66 East is snarled approaching the Beltway, while the inner loop is snarled approaching I-66.

An accident in the 4100 block of Van Ness Street in Northwest Washington could cause problems around the intersection of Van Ness Street and Nebraska Avenue.

The accident on S Street and Florida Avenue in Northwest Washington remains a trouble spot for those streets as well as 21st Street. Try to avoid that entire area, if you can.

Police activity on the inner loop of the Beltway has been cleared from the shoulder near the exit for Annapolis Road.

8:10 A.M. Update:

There’s an accident on S Street and Florida Avenue in Northwest Washington. Expect delays approaching this spot north of Dupont Circle.

Police activity on the inner loop of the Beltway is blocking the shoulder before the exit for Annapolis Road.

7:50 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle has been cleared and the ramp from the inner loop to I-66 West fully reopened.

7:25 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle is blocking the right lane of the ramp from the inner loop of the Beltway to I-66 West.

Delays remain on northbound I-95. There’s also a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder of this roadway at the Springfield Interchange.

The disabled vehicle on southbound I-395 at Seminary Road has been cleared.

7:05 A.M. Update:

There’s some congestion on the inner loop of the Beltway around Braddock Road.

6:50 A.M. Update:

The inner loop of the Beltway is congested around Gallows Road.

Northbound I-95 is backed up from the Springfield Interchange all the way back to Lorton right now.

Eastbound I-66 is slow at Nutley Street and Sudley Road.

There is also traffic on northbound I-395 approaching Seminary Road.

6:25 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle is blocking the right shoulder on southbound I-395 at the Seminary Road exit.

Eastbound I-66 is backed up approaching Chain Bridge Road and again approaching Sudley Road.

So far:

Northbound I-95 is very congested approaching the Fairfax County Parkway. Delays stretch back nearly to Woodbridge.
