Muncaster Mill Road reopened in Aspen Hill

8:40 A.M. Update:

Muncaster Mill Road has reopened in both directions at Windsor Manor Lane in Aspen Hill.

The disabled vehicle has been cleared from I-270 South at Shady Grove Road.

There’s a disabled vehicle in the 1200 block of Monroe Street in Northeast Washington.

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway has been cleared from the right lane at Braddock Road.

An accident in the 3100 block of 14th Street could cause some headaches in Northwest Washington.

There’s also an accident at Wisconsin and Western avenues in Northwest Washington.

8:15 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway is blocking the right lane at Braddock Road.

There’s a disabled vehicle blocking one lane on I-270 South at Shady Grove Road.

And there's also a disabled vehicle in the 3700 block of Kansas Avenue in Northwest Washington.

An accident at Dupont Circle could cause problems in that vicinity, the District Department of Transportation reported, but we aren’t sure where on the circle the accident occurred. Expect delays no matter where you approach it.

7:52 A.M. Update:

The accident in Aspen Hill involved an unoccupied school bus and at least one other vehicle, according to the Montgomery County Police Department. Tow trucks have been called in, and they hope to have the accident cleared up soon.

7:40 A.M. Update:

An accident has closed Muncaster Mill Road in both directions at Windsor Manor Lane in Aspen Hill.

Depending on where you’re going, there aren’t a lot of alternatives directly to the north beside the Intercounty Connector (which has tolls). If you’re north of this spot, it might be wise to take Shady Grove Road to N. Frederick Road; if you’re to the south, you could stay on Georgia Avenue to avoid it. (The accident is just west of the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Norbeck Road.)

7:30 A.M. Update:

There’s an accident at 3rd Street and Independence Avenue in Southwest Washington, so expect traffic problems around that spot.

I-395 North and I-95 North delays persist in Virginia, and now they’re joined by delays on the inner loop of the Beltway (approaching I-66) and I-66 East (approaching the Beltway, of course).

7:10 A.M. Update:

There’s an accident on the 2900 block of Naylor Road in Southeast Washington involving a school bus and a truck, according to the D.C. Fire Department. Expect some traffic issues.

6:50 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is also congested approaching Washington Boulevard right now, but those delays could linger through the morning as traffic builds up.

6:30 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop near New Hampshire Avenue has been cleared.

I-395 North is backed up approaching Duke Street.

I-95 North also has some delays before the Springfield Interchange and to the south in Woodbridge.

6:05 A.M. Update:

The accident has been cleared from I-95 North and the lanes reopened.

There’s an accident on the outer loop of the Beltway between New Hampshire Avenue and I-95. That could cause problems in that area
