The earlier accident on I-95 North that was blocking the two left lanes and left shoulder before the Fairfax County Parkway is now only blocking the left shoulder.
An accident on I-95 North in Woodbridge is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.
The Colesville Road lanes have reopened at the Beltway, but expect some residual traffic issues there.
8:20 A.M. Update:
An accident on southbound Colesville Road at the Beltway is blocking two lanes and one of the shoulders. Avoid this area if possible.
8:05 A.M. Update:
The D.C. Fire Department is responding to a fire in at 16th Street and Constitution Avenue in Northeast Washington. Constitution Avenue is blocked between 15th and 17th streetsand 16th Street is blocked between C Street and East Capitol Street.
7:50 A.M. Update:
An accident on I-95 North before the Fairfax County Parkway is blocking the left lane, left center lane and left shoulder. Expect big, big delays.
7:30 A.M. Update:
The usual delays are beginning to crop up on the inner loop of the Beltway at Gallows Road. If you’re heading in that direction, expect your commute to slow down.
7:10 A.M. Update:
U Street has now reopened to traffic between 13th and 14th streets in Northwest Washington, according to the D.C. Fire Department.
6:55 A.M. Update:
U Street remains closed between 13th and 14th streets in Northwest Washington due to fire equipment and hoses in the street, according to the D.C. Fire Department.
The disabled vehicle has been cleared from I-95 North near Woodbridge.
6:30 A.M. Update:
A disabled vehicle on I-95 North near Woodbridge is blocking the left shoulder, which could cause some headaches.
6:07 A.M. Update:
U Street is closed between 13th and 14th streets in Northwest Washington due to a fire, according to the D.C. Fire Department. The fire at 1351 U Street is under control and there are no injuries, but there is damage, according to D.C. Fire.
The inner loop lane has reopened near New Hampshire Avenue.
