I-66 East is jammed around Chain Bridge Road

8:35 A.M. Update:

An accident at Georgia Avenue and Peabody Street in Northwest Washington could cause delays, as could an accident in the 2000 block of Fairview Street in Northeast Washington.

There’s an accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before New Hampshire Avenue.

I-66 East is still heavily backed up around Chain Bridge Road.

8:10 A.M. Update:

A fuel spill in the 2300 block of 2nd Street in Northeast Washington could cause traffic problems in that area, so try to avoid that block.

7:55 A.M. Update:

I-66 East is now heavily backed up approaching Chain Bridge Road.

There are also delays on I-395 North around Pentagon City and, to the south, near Seminary Road and Duke Street.

An accident at 9th Street and Massachusetts Avenue in Northwest Washington could slow traffic there. An accident at Wisconsin and Western avenues in Northwest could do the same near that spot.

7:30 A.M. Update:

The tractor trailer accident has been cleared from the inner loop ramp.

I-95 North is still jammed up around Woodbridge, while I-66 East is beginning to slow down approaching Chain Bridge Road.

7:10 A.M. Update:

The tractor trailer accident is blocking the left lane of the ramp from Leesburg Pike to the inner loop of the Beltway.

The inner loop is backed up approaching Gallows Road.

6:40 A.M. Update:

A tractor trailer accident on the inner loop of the Beltway near Leesburg Pike could cause delays.

6:20 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-66 West to the west of the Beltway is blocking the left lane and left shoulder.

There was a disabled vehicle on I-66 East after the Beltway, but it was cleared from the shoulder.
