Chilly Friday A.M. commute: Accident blocking lane on westbound Leesburg Pike in Tysons Corner

8:30 A.M. Update:

An accident on westbound Leesburg Pike at Mervis Way in Tysons Corner is blocking the west left center lane. This is on a busy stretch of road just west of the Beltway, so expect headaches in that area.

The disabled vehicle on I-66 East at Nutley Street is still blocking the right lane.

8:15 A.M. Update:

The 1400 and 1500 blocks of C Street NE have reopened, according to D.C. police. Expect some lingering delays in that area, where two blocks were closed for a few hours due to an earlier accident.

The accident on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange has been cleared from the right shoulder.

8:10 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-66 East at Nutley Street is blocking the right lane.

7:50 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange is still blocking the right shoulder, and congestion remains approaching this spot.

7:30 A.M. Update:

Metrobuses on routes D6 and B2 continue to detour due to the accident at 15th and C streets NE. D6 buses are detouring at 15th and C streets before resuming the regular route at 13th and C streets; B2 buses are detouring at 14th Street and Tennessee Avenue before resuming the normal route at 14th and East Capitol streets SE.

An accident on I-95 North at Lorton is blocking the left shoulder.

7:15 A.M. Update:

I-95 North is pretty congested just before the Springfield Interchange .

I-395 North is also seeing some delays develop around Duke Street.

6:55 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange is still blocking the right shoulder.

6:40 A.M. Update

MARC Brunswick Line train 894 will run with one fewer car than usual due to mechanical issues. Expect overcrowding on the remaining cars on this train. They expect all cars to be in service for the evening commute.

6:35 A.M. Update:

The 1400 and 1500 blocks of C Street NE remain closed as the police await for two cranes to remove the vehicles.

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help. If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

It’s another chilly April day, with cool temperatures to kick off the morning, according to the Capital Weather Gang.

So far:

— An accident has closed the 1400 and 1500 blocks of C Street NE.

— Due to that accident, Metrobuses on routes B2 and D6 are going to experience delays, according to Metro.

— MARC riders: All Brunswick Line trains will board on the opposite track at the Brunswick station once again.
