Accident blocking outer loop lanes at N.H. Ave.

Metro Riders: You can continue to drink water on the system through Monday night.

8:40 A.M. Update:

Due to a suspicious package in the 1600 block of New Hampshire Avenue NW, that block is closed. The 1800 block of 18th Street NW and the 1600 to 1800 blocks of Corcoran Street NW are also closed.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway near New Hampshire Avenue is blocking two lanes and one of the shoulders.

8:30 A.M. Update:

Westbound Cochran Mill Road has fully reopened at Crosstrail Boulevard, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office

8:12 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway near Braddock Road is now just blocking the right shoulder.

8:10 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway near Braddock Road is blocking the left two lanes.

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway before the G.W. Parkway has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

A disabled vehicle on southbound U.S. 301 at U.S. 50 in Prince George’s County could create southbound delays.

7:50 A.M. Update:

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway before the G.W. Parkway is back to blocking the left lane and left shoulder.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road is blocking the right shoulder.

I-66 East is jammed around Chain Bridge Road.

7:25 A.M. Update:

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway before the G.W. Parkway is now blocking the left two lanes and the left shoulder.

7:05 A.M. Update:

An accident on westbound U.S. 50 at I-95 in Prince George’s County was blocking the right westbound off-ramp, but it has reopened.

6:50 A.M. Update:

The debris on the outer loop of the Beltway before the I-495 split in Prince George’s County has been cleared.

6:25 A.M. Update:

Debris on the outer loop of the Beltway before the I-495 split in Prince George’s County could create delays there.

An accident on I-95 North in Woodbridge is blocking the right shoulder. There’s already some congestion approaching this spot.

So far:

— A disabled vehicle on eastbound U.S. 50 at Pickett Road in Fairfax was blocking four eastbound lanes, but it was just cleared.

— A house fire in the 4800 block of Glenbrook Road NW is going to snarl traffic in the area. Street closures are at Indian Lane to Rockwood Parkway and Nebraska Avenue at Glenbrook Road.
