8:35 A.M. Update:
I-95 North is still pretty jammed up around the Fairfax County Parkway. An accident is blocking the left shoulder, while general congestion is slowing down traffic.
An accident on I-395 North at Edsall Road is blocking the right shoulder.
8:20 A.M. Update:
Debris on the outer loop of the Beltway before University Boulevard is blocking one of the shoulders and could cause delays there.
7:50 A.M. Update:
MARC Brunswick Line train 894 is running 20 minutes late due to signal problems.
A vehicle fire on Backlick Road/Route 617 at Forest View Drive in Springfield is blocking the northbound left lane and southbound center and right lanes. Avoid that roadway if you can help itsn.
7:25 A.M. Update:
A disabled vehicle on I-395 North at Glebe Road is blocking the left shoulder of the H.O.V. lanes.
And there are other issues on I-395: An accident on I-395 North at Edsall Road is blocking the right shoulder.
7:05 A.M. Update:
Metro reports that normal service has resumed at Farragut West. Watch for any lingering delays.
6:50 A.M. Update:
I-95 North is pretty jammed up at the Fairfax County Parkway.
Delays continue for trains on the Orange and Blue Line to New Carrollton and Largo Town Center, respectively.
6:30 A.M. Update:
Expect delays on the Orange and Blue Lines heading to New Carrollton and Largo Town Center due to an earlier train malfunction at Farragut West.

The morning should be filled with sunshine and pleasant temperatures, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Showers and thundershowers could follow later on today.
