Gas leak could cause delays near 1st and P in NW DC

8:35 A.M. Update:

A natural gas leak at 1st and P streets in Northwest Washington could cause traffic issues in that area, according to the D.C. Fire Department.

The vehicle fire on westbound I-66 after Sully Road in Centreville is now only blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is blocking the right shoulder and could add to the usual congestion there.

The accident on northbound I-270 before Quince Orchard Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

There’s debris on the inner loop of the Beltway before the I-270 Spur, which could cause some issues.

8:10 A.M. Update:

A vehicle fire on westbound I-66 after Sully Road in Centreville is blocking the right center lane, right lane and right shoulder.

7:40 A.M. Update:

The accident on northbound I-270 before Quince Orchard Road is only blocking the right shoulder; the local lane has reopened.

7:20 A.M. Update:

The accident on southbound Fairfax County Parkway has been cleared and the lanes reopened.

There’s a disabled vehicle on northbound I-95 at Lorton Road. It’s blocking the right shoulder and there are some delays approaching this spot.

7 A.M. Update:

The inner loop is starting to see some serious congestion approaching Gallows Road.

An accident on southbound Connecticut Avenue at the outer loop of the Beltway could cause delays.

6:45 A.M. Update:

All three southbound lanes are now blocked on the Fairfax County Parkway near Rolling Road. Avoid that area.

6:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on the southbound Fairfax County Parkway near Rolling Road is blocking the center lane and right lane.
