Keeping tabs on the Thursday A.M. commute

8:40 A.M. Update:

An accident on northbound Georgia Avenue at the Beltway is blocking the right off-ramp.

The accident at MD 108/Olney Laytonsville Road near Brookeville and Zion roads is still blocking MD 108 in both directions right now. Expect delays in the area.

The accident on I-95 North after the Lorton exit is still blocking the right shoulder.

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is blocking the right shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on inbound New York Avenue before Bladensburg Road NE has been cleared and all lanes are open again on New York Avenue, according to police.

8:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-95 North after the Lorton exit is blocking the left and right shoulders.

8:10 A.M. Update:

There are still no lane closures reported for the accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Georgia Avenue, but expect potential delays there.

7:55 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on inbound New York Avenue before Bladensburg Road NE is blocking one lane on New York Avenue, according to police.

7:40 A.M. Update:

There’s a reported disabled vehicle on inbound New York Avenue before Bladensburg Road NE, according to police. We’ll have more information on potential lane closures, if there are any, shortly.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Georgia Avenue isn’t blocking any lanes right now, but it could cause delays.

The accident at MD 108/Olney Laytonsville Road near Brookeville and Zion roads is blocking MD 108 in both directions right now.

7:25 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is blocking the right shoulder.

Metrobuses on routes 32, 34, 36, B2, M6, U2, V7 and V9 might be delayed in both directions due to an accident at Pennsylvania and Minnesota avenues SE, according to Metro.

An accident at MD 108/Olney Laytonsville Road near Brookeville and Zion roads is blocking one lane in each direction. Expect delays.

7:05 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is a little jammed around Seminary Road and Washington Boulevard.

6:45 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Dulles Toll Road has been cleared from the right shoulder.

6:25 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Dulles Toll Road is blocking the right shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on I-66 West after George Mason Drive has been cleared from the shoulder.

The accident on I-95 North just north of Triangle has also been cleared from the shoulder there.

There’s a slight chance of showers this morning, according to the Capital Weather Gang. If it does rain, that could cause inevitable issues for commuters.

So far:

— A disabled vehicle on I-66 West after George Mason Drive is blocking the right shoulder.

— An accident on I-95 North just north of Triangle is blocking the left shoulder.
