Tuesday A.M. commute: Lanes blocked on inner loop at I-66, I-395 South at Duke Street

8:30 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the right lane.

A disabled vehicle on I-395 South at Duke Street is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

A disabled vehicle on northbound DC-295 at Firth Sterling Avenue SE was causing delays, but all lanes are open again.

VRE Fredericksburg train 310 is running 18 minutes late due to equipment problems.

All lanes have reopened on southbound U.S. 29 at the Beltway.

8:15 A.M. Update:

An accident on southbound U.S. 29 at the Beltway is blocking one southbound lane and one of the shoulders.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway has been cleared and the right on-ramp reopened.

The disabled vehicle on westbound I-66 at the Beltway has been cleared from the shoulder.

8 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Colesville Road is blocking the right on-ramp.

An accident on I-395 North at Glebe Road is blocking the right shoulder.

A disabled vehicle on westbound I-66 at the Beltway is blocking the left shoulder.

7:45 A.M. Update:

MARC Camden Line train 842 is running 8 to 10 minutes late.

I-395 North is pretty jammed at the 14th Street Bridge. It's usually jammed there, so this isn’t exactly breaking news, but just in case you are heading out and wondering if there are delays on I-395 North at the 14th Street Bridge, the answer is yes.

7:30 A.M. Update:

Penn Line train 408 is also running one car short this morning, joining trains 409 and 421 on the Penn Line. Watch out for overcrowding on the remaining cars.

7:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the right shoulder.

The accident on I-270 South before Old Hundred Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on I-95 South just after the Springfield Interchange has also been cleared from the shoulder.

7:05 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-95 South just after the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on I-270 South before Old Hundred Road is blocking one of the shoulders.

6:50 A.M. Update:

MARC Brunswick Line train 872, which is making additional stops due to canceled train 890, is running 10 to 12 minutes late as it approaches Rockville.

6:30 A.M. Update:

MARC Brunswick Line train 890 is canceled due to this morning’s mechanical problem, according to the Maryland Transit Administration. Train 892 is on time and making all the normal stops, while all other Brunswick Line trains are reported to be running normally. Metro will accept MARC tickets, according to the MTA.

6:25 A.M. Update:

MARC Penn Line trains 409 and 421 are running one car short this morning, so expect potential crowding on the remaining cars. This stems from mechanical problems on Monday night, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.

The disabled vehicle on I-395 South before Glebe Road has been cleared from the right shoulder.

The accident on eastbound I-66 at Chain Bridge Road has been cleared from the left shoulder.

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help. If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

The freezing temperatures around dawn are going to thaw quickly, but it’s still going to be plenty chilly this morning, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Make sure to dress warmly before you head out.

So far:

— MARC Brunswick Line train 890 is having mechanical problems and is running 30 to 40 minutes late. Train 872 will run on time ahead of train 890 and will make additional stops at the Dickerson and Boyds stations.

— An accident on eastbound I-66 at Chain Bridge Road is blocking the left shoulder.

— A disabled vehicle on I-395 South before Glebe Road is blocking the right shoulder.
