Keeping tabs on the Tuesday A.M. commute

8:35 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on I-395 South at King Street has been cleared from the right lane and right shoulder.

An accident on northbound Centreville Road/VA 28 at Old mill Road in Centreville is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

An accident on westbound U.S. 50 at Landover Road is blocking one of the shoulders.

Remember, the Capital Weather Gang forecast calls for rain this afternoon, which could impact the evening commute.

8 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on I-395 South at King Street is still blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike has been cleared from the shoulder.

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road has also been cleared from the right shoulder.

The accident on westbound U.S. 50 after Collington Road has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

7:40 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road is blocking the right shoulder.

The debris on I-270 North at Middlebrook Road has been cleared.

7:20 A.M. Update:

Debris on I-270 North at Middlebrook Road could cause delays for northbound traffic.

An accident on westbound U.S. 50 after Collington Road is blocking one of the shoulders and one of the westbound lanes.

A disabled vehicle on I-395 South at King Street is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

7 A.M. Update:

The Red Line delays have been cleared, per Metro.

Belmont Ridge Road has reopened in both directions after a single-vehicle accident closed it earlier this morning, according tot he Loudoun County Sheriff’s office.

6:45 A.M. Update:

There are delays on the Red Line heading to Shady Grove after a train malfunctioned at Friendship Heights, according to Metro.

6:25 A.M. Update:

Belmont Ridge Road is closed in both directions between Route 7/Leesburg Pike and Gloucester Parkway due to an accident. This accident, in Belmont, is going to cause big headaches for commuters trying to travel between Leesburg Pike and the Dulles Greenway.

MARC Brunswick Line train 874 is running 10 minutes late.

The disabled vehicle on I-395 North at Seminary Road has been cleared from the right shoulder.

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help. If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

The morning will be cloudy and gray, with a slight risk of showers before noon, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Showers and storms are likely in the mid-to-late afternoon, which could impact the evening commute.

So far:

— A disabled vehicle on I-395 North at Seminary Road is blocking the right shoulder.

— An accident on westbound U.S. 50 at Landover Road/MD 202 is blocking one of the shoulders in each direction.

— MARC Camden Line train 843 is running 10-12 minutes behind schedule as it approaches Dorsey.
