Inbound N.Y. Ave. reopens at Brentwood Parkway

8:40 A.M. Update:

The accident on westbound/inbound New York Avenue has cleared and all lanes have reopened at the Brentwood Parkway. Watch for lingering delays stemming from the earlier lane closure.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway before the B.W. Parkway is blocking one of the right deceleration lanes and one of the shoulders. One inner loop lane just reopened.

There’s also some debris reported on the outer loop of the Beltway after Georgia Avenue. No lane closures are reported yet, but watch for issues.

An accident on I-270 South after Clarksburg Road was blocking one southbound lane, but now it is just blocking one of the shoulders.

8:35 A.M. Update:

The accident on westbound/inbound New York Avenue at the Brentwood Parkway is still blocking the right lane. Expect heavy delays and stay to the left.

8:25 A.M. Update:

A disabled dump truck in the northbound Third Street Tunnel is blocking the right shoulder near the Massachusetts Avenue exit, according to the D.C. police.

The accident in the 3200 block of Military Road NW isn’t impacting traffic, also according to the D.C. police.

8:05 A.M. Update:

An accident has been reported in the 3200 block of Military Road NW. Watch for delays there.

8 A.M. Update:

Orange Line trains are experiencing some issues due to a signal problem near East Falls Church. There’s a gap of about 14 minutes between Clarendon and Metro Center, according to Metro. Expect delays in the near future.

7:45 A.M. Update:

Debris on Frederick Avenue/MD 355 at Shady Grove Road is blocking two southbound lanes. Avoid Frederick Avenue if you can help it.

The accident on the southbound B.W. Parkway/MD-295 at Annapolis Road/MD 450 has been cleared and the off-ramp reopened. Watch for lingering delays.

7:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on the southbound B.W. Parkway/MD-295 at Annapolis Road/MD 450 is blocking the southbound right off-ramp.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway near Chain Bridge Road is blocking the left lane.

7:05 A.M. Update:

An accident on westbound/inbound New York Avenue at the Brentwood Parkway is blocking the right lane, according to the D.C. police. Expect delays and stay to the left.

6:50 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-66 East at Sudley Road is now blocking only the left shoulder. The left lane has reopened.

6:30 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-66 East at Sudley Road is blocking the left lane and left shoulder.

Another accident on I-66 East, after Chain Bridge Road, is blocking the left outside lane.

There was a disabled vehicle on I-395 North at King Street. It has been cleared, but some delays remain.

I-95 North is all kinds of congested approaching the Springfield Interchange.

The weather should be pretty reasonable today, according to the Capital Weather Gang. We’re in for sunny skies, breezes and temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s.

So far:

— An earlier accident on I-270 South at Germantown Road was blocking two lanes and creating delays, but the lanes have all reopened.
