Keeping tabs on the Wednesday A.M. commute

8:35 A.M. Update:

The accident in the 4300 block of South Dakota Avenue NE has been cleared and the southbound lane reopened.

8:30 A.M. Update:

The accident in the 4300 block of South Dakota Avenue NE is continues to block one southbound lane.

Two eastbound lanes on Massachusetts Avenue are closed at Wisconsin Avenue NW. A pedestrian was injured from a fall, according to the D.C. police.

8 A.M. Update:

The accident in the 4300 block of South Dakota Avenue NE is continues to block one southbound lane. Expect delays approaching this area.

7:45 A.M. Update:

An accident in the 4300 block of South Dakota Avenue NE is temporarily blocking one southbound lane, according to D.C. police.

7:30 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is pretty jammed up around Washington Boulevard. The congestion in this area will only linger or worsen as the morning continues, so expect to hit some delays heading that way.

7:10 A.M. Update:

The inner loop of the Beltway is slow around Gallows Road, so expect soem congestion-related traffic there.

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 has been cleared.

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike has also been cleared.

6:50 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at Landover Road has been cleared.

6:40 A.M. Update:

There are currently no reported delays for Metro, MARC or VRE trains.

6:25 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at Landover Road could cause issues there. No lane closures have been reported yet, but watch for delays.

I-395 North is congested approaching Seminary Road.

It could be another wet one, with a decent chance of scattered showers and thundershowers today and into the evening, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Make sure to bring your umbrella.
