Many streets closed for July 4 celebrations

D.C. and Arlington County police have published their extensive lists of street closings for the region’s major Independence Day celebrations.

The District

No parking from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., July 4:

Third Street from Independence to Constitution avenues NW, Fourth Street from Independence to Constitution avenues NW, Seventh Street from Independence to Pennsylvania avenues NW, 14th Street from Independence to Constitution avenues NW, 15th Street from Constitution Avenue to E Street NW, 17th Street from Constitution to E Street NW, Constitution from Pennsylvania avenues west to 23rd Street NW, 10th Street NW between Constitution and Pennsylvania avenues NW, 14th Street NW between Constitution and Pennsylvania avenues NW, C Street from 17th to 18th streets NW, Virginia Avenue from Constitution Avenue to 21st Street NW.

Streets closed from 6 a.m. to about 11 p.m.:

Fourth Street from Independence Avenue SW to Constitution Avenue NW, Seventh Street from Independence Avenue SW to Constitution Avenue NW, 15th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue NW to Maine Avenue SW, 17th Street from Independence Avenue SW to E Street NW, 19th Street NW from C Street to Constitution Avenue, 20th Street NW from C Street to Constitution Avenue, 21st Street NW from C Street to Constitution Avenue, 22nd Street NW from C Street to Constitution Avenue, 23rd Street NW from Independence Avenue SW to C Street NW, Virginia Avenue NW from 18th Street to 20th Street, Constitution Avenue NW from 14th to 23rd streets, Independence Avenue SW from 14th Street to 23rd Street.

This is the July 4 closings schedule.

6 a.m. to midnight: Memorial Bridge/Memorial Circle

3 p.m. to midnight:

• Eastbound Washington Boulevard between I-395 (exit 8B) and Memorial Bridge

• North Meade Street from Marshall Drive to Route 50

• Marshall Drive from Route 110 to North Meade Street

• Eastbound Fairfax Drive from North Pierce Street to Fort Myer Drive

• Exit ramp from westbound Route 50 to North Lynn Street (Rosslyn exit)

• Exit ramp from eastbound Route 50 to North Meade Street (Rosslyn exit)

7 p.m. to midnight:

• Eastbound Route 50 at North Pershing Drive (detour at North Barton Street or Washington Boulevard)

• Columbia Pike between South Orme Street and the Pentagon

• South Joyce Street from Army Navy Drive to Columbia Pike

• Ramp from westbound Washington Boulevard to westbound Columbia Pike

• Ramp from westbound Washington Boulevard to eastbound Columbia Pike

8:30 p.m. to midnight:

• Fort Myer Drive from Wilson Boulevard to the North Meade Street bridge. Access to the Fort Myer Heights neighborhood will be from the Rhodes Street bridge. Employees requiring access to the Pentagon should enter South Parking from Army-Navy Drive or North Parking from Boundary Channel Drive.
