MARC trains reducing speed due to flash flood warning

7:20 A.M. Update:

MARC Brunswick Line riders should expect delays of 10 to 20 minutes, while Camden Line riders should still expect delays of 10 to 15 minutes.

Original Post:

Flash flood warnings are in effect for MARC’s Camden and Brunswick Lines, the Maryland Transit Administration reports. (Flash flood warnings are also in effect for the region.) This means that trains are required to run at reduced speeds and should be prepared to stop. The Brunswick Line warning is in effect from Garrett Park to Washington, while the warning is for the entire Camden Line, which will delay trains 10 to 15 minutes on that line.
