Metro board talks budgets, fares and Blue Line service

Post staff writer Dana Hedgpeth is attending today’s Metro board committee meetings.

The board is expected to take up several issues, including plans to send some Blue Line trains across the Yellow Line Bridge to help improve Orange Line service and to accommodate future service on the Dulles rail line; the station naming policy; and whether the system should consider a new fare structure.
