Metrobus involved in accident

A Metrobus was involved in an accident around 10:50 a.m. Tuesday, a Metro official said.

About 15 passengers were on the bus at the time of the accident. Three passengers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, according to Metro chief spokesman Dan Stessel.

The bus on the H6 route was headed to the Brookland station. The accident involved a bus and a car at 14th and Hamlin Street NE.

The bus was traveling north on 14th Street NE at the time, he said.
