Original Post:

Good morning, commuters. We’re in for another day of delightful weather, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Of course, some spots in this area are still reeling from Hurricane Irene. Tens of thousands of people are still without power, while some schools will remain closed on Wednesday.

We’ve been saying it since the storm hit, and it’s still true: Watch out for debris, downed trees and flooded roadways. If you encounter a dark traffic signal, treat that intersection as a four-way stop. If you encounter debris or flooding, use another route and report that spot (information on reporting power outages, downed trees and debris can be found at the bottom of this post).

We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails, reporting any delays or issues. We will need your help: If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.
