Accident on northbound 11th St. Bridge

8:45 A.M. Update:

Eastbound I-66 is extremely packed approaching Nutley Street.

An accident on the northbound 11th Street Bridge could cause serious delays there.

There are accidents in the 1900 block of 8th Street NW and the 5100 block of Alabama Avenue SE, so avoid those areas if possible.

The disabled vehicle on I-270 South before the spur has been cleared.

8:20 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-270 South before the spur could snarl southbound traffic.

8:05 A.M. Update:

The traffic signals are reportedly flashing at Suitland Parkway and Stanton Road in Southeast Washington.

An accident on 8th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, also in Southeast Washington, could cause delays there.

7:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on westbound U.S. 50 to the west of Columbia Park Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

The debris on the inner loop of the Beltway near Branch Avenue has also been cleared.

7:30 A.M. Update:

The accident on westbound U.S. 50 to the west of Columbia Park Road is now only blocking one of the shoulders.

And the accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before Connecticut Avenue has been fully cleared.

The accident on I-95 North before the Fairfax County Parkway has also been cleared.

7:10 A.M. Update:

There’s some debris on the inner loop of the Beltway that could slow traffic near Branch Avenue. One of the shoulders is blocked.

An accident on westbound U.S. 50 to the west of Columbia Park Road is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

7 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before Connecticut Avenue is now only blocking the shoulder. The left two lanes have reopened.

The shoulder has reopened on I-395 North at Glebe Road.

6:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before Connecticut Avenue is now blocking the left two lanes and the shoulder.

6:30 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before Connecticut Avenue is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

And an accident on I-395 North at Glebe Road is blocking the right shoulder and causing some delays.

There is also an accident on I-95 North before the Fairfax County Parkway. It is blocking the left shoulder.

6:15 A.M. Update:

Drivers are already encountering congestion on I-66 East at Chain Bridge Road.
