8:50 A.M. Update:
Delays continue on the Orange Line due the earlier disabled train near West Falls Church. Metro reports that trains bound for New Carrollton are on the move, but Orange Line riders should expect to encounter crowded stations and lingering delays in both directions.
An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway on the Maryland side of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge is still blocking one of the local lanes.
8:30 A.M. Update:
Delays on the Orange Line remain due to trains single-tracking between the two Falls Church stations. The disabled Orange Line train has been removed from the main line outside of West Falls Church, according to Metro, but delays persist in both directions.
Metro also reports that trains bound for New Carrollton are beginning to move, but you should expect to encounter crowds and delays at Orange Line stations.
8:10 A.M. Update:
Orange Line trains are single-tracking between the East Falls Church station and the West Falls Church station due to a disabled train at East Falls Church. Expect delays in both directions.

An accident on I-270 South at Father Hurley Boulevard is blocking one of the shoulders.

There’s an accident involving a D.C. school bus in the 700 block of 14th Street NE, according to D.C. police.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway after the exit for I-270 has been cleared.
7:15 A.M. Update:
There’s an accident on the outer loop of the Beltway after the exit for I-270. No lane closures are reported yet, but it could cause delays.
An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway before the Braddock Road exit is blocking the right shoulder.
A disabled vehicle on I-395 North at Glebe Road is blocking the right shoulder there.
The accident on Clopper Road/MD 117 at Waring Station Road in Germantown has been cleared.
6:55 A.M. Update:
Metro reports that normal service has resumed on the Blue Line between Van Dorn Street and Franconia.
Entrance escalators are back in service at the Foggy Bottom Metro station.

6:30 A.M. Update:
Blue Line trains are no longer single-tracking between Van Dorn Street and Franconia, according to Metro. There will still likely be some residual delays in both directions.

I-395 North is pretty congested around Duke Street right now.

It should be a cloudy morning, and rain is a possibility throughout the morning commute, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Rain is very likely later in the afternoon and evening, so be prepared for your commute home.
— All entrance escalators are out of service at the Foggy Bottom Metro station. Buses are available and the station remains open.
— Blue Line trains are single-tracking between the Van Dorn Street and Franconia stations due to a track problem outside of Franconia. Expect delays in both directions.
