Entrance escalators out at Tenleytown Metro

8:45 A.M. Update:

The entrance escalators are all down at the Tenleytown Metro station. Shuttle service is available and the station is still open.

Several accidents have been reported around the District. Watch out around these areas:

— 2nd and F streets NE

— The 3100 block of Georgia Avenue NW

— The 2700 block of 13th Street NW

— 4th and Galloway streets NE

8:30 A.M. Update:

The accident has been cleared from the right shoulder of the ramp from southbound U.S. 29 to eastbound I-66.

A reader reports a broken-down van on Rock Creek Parkway between P and M streets in Northwest Washington.

8:10 A.M. Update:

An accident at 17th Street and Independence Avenue SE could cause serious delays there.

8 A.M. Update:

An accident in the 2500 block of Southern Avenue SE is slowing traffic there, according to D.C. police.

An accident is blocking the right shoulder of the ramp from southbound U.S. 29 to eastbound I-66.

There’s reportedly a disabled vehicle at 21st Street and Constitution Avenue NW, which could cause issues there.

7:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on Leesburg Pike at Middleton Ridge Road near Wolf Trap is now only blocking the eastbound right shoulder. The eastbound lanes and the westbound lane that were closed have all reopened. Expect residual delays approaching this spot.

7:30 A.M. Update:

Traffic signals are reportedly flashing at Georgia Avenue and Taylor Street in Northwest Washington. Approach the intersection with caution.

7:15 A.M. Update:

The accident on Leesburg Pike at Middleton Ridge Road continues to block eastbound lanes and the left shoulder; eastbound traffic is getting by on the right shoulder.

7 A.M. Update:

An accident on Leesburg Pike at Middleton Ridge Road near Wolf Trap is blocking the eastbound lanes and the westbound left lane. Expect very heavy delays.

The inner loop of the Beltway is a bit congested around Gallows Road.

6:45 A.M. Update:

I-95 North is very backed up in Virginia, with heavy congestion stretching from the Springfield Interchange back to Occoquan.

6:30 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on eastbound I-66 has been cleared from the shoulder.

6:20 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard has been cleared from the shoulder.

Good morning, commuters! The weather is going to be similar to how it was yesterday, but a bit warmer, according to the Capital Weather Gang.
