An accident on I-395 North at Washington Boulevard is blocking the right lane.
Remember, MARC Penn Line train 523 is canceled due to a mechanical issue. Amtrak train 181 is going to take MARC passengers at stations north of Baltimore. Expect heavy overcrowding on other MARC Penn Line trains.
8:30 A.M. Update:
An accident on eastbound I-66 at the Beltway is blocking the right shoulder.
An accident on I-395 South at King Street is blocking the left shoulder.
8:10 A.M. Update:
A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is blocking the right shoulder.
8 A.M. Update:
MARC Penn Line train 402 is going to end in Baltimore due to the earlier mechanical issues on this line. MARC Penn Line train 523 is also canceled. MARC passengers will be taken on by Amtrak train 181, which is making all stops north of Baltimore.
Riders on the remaining MARC Penn Line trains should expect serious overcrowding.
7:40 A.M. Update:
An accident on I-95 North at the Fairfax County Parkway is blocking the left shoulder.
7:25 A.M. Update:
The accident on I-270 South after Shady Grove Road has been cleared and all lanes reopened. Expect residual delays.
7:10 A.M. Update:
MARC Penn Line train 404 has been canceled this morning due to a mechanical issue in Washington. The next available train is 406, which leaves D.C. at 7:10 a.m. Expect that train to be very, very crowded as riders from train 404 join the usual commuters on train 406.
The accident on I-270 South after Shady Grove Road is now blocking one southbound lane and the shoulders. One of the southbound lanes has reopened.

6:35 A.M. Update:
The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road has been cleared from the left shoulder.

MARC train 502 is running 10 to 12 minutes late.
