Accident snarls I-95 North before Lorton

8:35 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-95 North in Lorton is blocking the left two lanes and the left shoulder. Expect big delays in this area, which was already pretty congested this morning.

Traffic approaching this accident spot, just south of Lorton Road, is having to merge into the right two lanes due to a fire truck blocking the left two lanes and left shoulder at the accident scene.

An accident on eastbound I-66 at the Fairfax County Parkway/Route 7100 could cause some delays there.

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is still blocking the right shoulder

8:15 A.M. Update:

A disabled truck on 7th Street and Frontrage Road in Southwest Washington is blocking traffic on the ramp, according to the D.C. police.

Two accidents in Northeast Washington are causing delays, also according to D.C. police. Expect issues around the 600 block of Florida Avenue and in the 1500 block of Benning Road.

8 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-395 North at the 12th Street exit will cause delays there, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Bradley Boulevard has been cleared and the lanes reopened.

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is now only blocking the right shoulder. The left center lane has reopened.

7:45 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is blocking the left center lane.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Bradley Boulevard is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

7:35 A.M. Update:

I-95 North remains a congested mess approaching Woodbridge right now.

7:15 A.M. Update:

The accident on northbound 295 at Polk Street has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

7:05 A.M. Update:

An accident on northbound 295 at Polk Street is blocking two northbound lanes.

6:50 A.M. Update:

The inner loop is starting to slow down around Gallows Road, with delays beginning to stretch back and slow traffic moving in that direction from the Springfield Interchange.

An accident on eastbound I-66 before Chain Bridge Road is blocking the right shoulder.

I-95 North is very jammed up approaching Woodbridge. Traffic begins to get heavy as you approach Dale City.

6:30 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-95 North in Lorton has been cleared from the shoulders.

Eastbound I-66 is delayed approaching Sudley Road.

An accident is blocking the southbound lanes on Telegraph Road at Beulah Road, according to WTOP.
