Outer loop lanes blocked at Arlington Blvd.

9:30 A.M. Update: Jets from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration area scheduled to soar above the Washington region Thursday morning for training and photographic flights.

The two T-38 training jets are scheduled to fly about 1,500 above Washington between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

According to NASA, the T-38s have been used as trainers for more than 30 years. The planes are white with a blue stripe along the fuselage.

8:40 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is still blocking the left two lanes. Expect big delays heading this way.

An accident on I-395 North at Duke Street is blocking the right shoulder.

The MARC ticket machine at Aberdeen is out of service, so you have to pay cash on the train to get a ticket.

8:20 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is blocking the left two lanes.

8 A.M. Update:

Watch for congestion on several arteries into Washington: Eastbound I-66 is slowing down at the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge, while I-395 North is also congested at the 14th Street Bridge. For those of you already in WAshington, the Sousa Bridge is fairly crowded but manageable.

7:40 A.M. Update:

I-95 North is very sluggish before the Springfield Interchange.

7:25 A.M. Update:

The 1300 block of Locust Road NW remains closed due to the house fire on that street.

7:20 A.M. Update:

The earlier accident blocking one reversible lane on I-95 in Woodbridge has been cleared.

7:05 A.M. Update:

The 1300 block of Locust Road NW is closed due to a house fire there, according to the D.C. police.

The accident on eastbound I-66 at Lee Highway in Centreville has been cleared from the right shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at I-66 has also been cleared from the shoulder.

6:45 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the right shoulder.

The accident on eastbound I-66 at Lee Highway in Centreville is now just blocking the right shoulder.

6:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on eastbound I-66 at Lee Highway in Centreville is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

A disable vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Dulles Toll Road is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident is also blocking one reversible lane on I-95 in Woodbridge.

— MARC Brunswick Line: All trains at the Brunswick station are boarding on the opposite track due to track work.
