I-395 North lanes jammed before Duke Street

8:40 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-95 North before the Springfield Interchange is still blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

I-395 North is still pretty jammed up before Duke Street, where an earlier accident had blocked multiple northbound lanes for a stretch this morning.

A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the right shoulder.

Eastbound I-66 is very backed up at the Beltway and Chain Bridge Road.

8:25 A.M. Update:

The northbound lanes on Glebe Road have been reopened at 2nd Street. An earlier accident blocked those lanes, rerouting traffic and causing Metrobus and ART detours.

8:05 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-95 North before the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right lane and right shoulder. This is going to exacerbate the delays that already exist leading up to the interchange, so prepare for a slow stretch if you’re heading that way.

7:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-395 North before Duke Street has been moved to the right shoulder and all other lanes reopened. However, major delays remain, so expect issues heading this way from the Springfield Interchange.

7:30 A.M. Update:

ART bus route 41 is going to be detoured due to the accident on Glebe Road and 2nd Street. Don’t use the stops between 2nd Street and Arlington Boulevard.

7:20 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-395 North before Duke Street is blocking the left and right lanes and both shoulders. The center lane remains open. There are heavy delays and they’re only going to get worse.

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

7:15 A.M. Update:

The accident on Glebe Road and 2nd Street in Arlington is going to delay Metrobuses 10B, 23A and 23C.

7:05 A.M. Update:

An accident in Arlington on South Glebe Road at South 2nd Street is blocking northbound Glebe Road. There’s a detour on 2nd Street.

An accident on I-395 North before Duke Street is blocking the right two lanes as well as the left and right shoulders. Expect heavy delays.

The disabled vehicle on I-95 North in Woodbridge has been moved to the right shoulder.

7 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-95 North in Woodbridge is blocking the center lane.

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road is blocking the right shoulder.

6:45 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is already crowded on the 14th Street Bridge.

6:30 A.M. Update:

I-95 North is backed up before the Fairfax County Parkway and in Woodbridge.

6:25 A.M. Update:

The Orange Line delays have cleared, according to Metro. As always, watch out for any residual delays.

6:10 A.M. Update:

The Orange Line is delayed heading to New Carrollton due to an earlier train malfunction at Minnesota Avenue, according to Metro.
