I-395 North lanes reopen in Arlington; northbound G.W. Parkway snarled before Glebe Rd.

8:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on northbound G.W. Parkway at Chain Bridge Road is blocking the right lane, while the left lane is open. Massive delays extend back on the parkway, so try to avoid this road for the rest of the morning commute.

Very heavy delays remain on I-395 North before Pentagon City. All lanes have opened after they were closed earlier this morning due to an accident, but expect those delays to linger.

All buses on ART route 77 are running 10 minutes behind schedule this morning.

A disabled vehicle on I-270 South at Old Georgetown Road could cause problems there.

8:35 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-395 North before Pentagon City has been cleared and all lanes reopened. Massive delays remain on I-395 North approaching this spot, with a lot of stop-and-go traffic, so expect these issues to linger for a while.

8:25 A.M. Update:

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before Annapolis Road has been cleared and all lanes reopened.

8:20 A.M. Update:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway before Annapolis Road is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

I-395 North is an absolute mess before Glebe Road, with traffic moving at a crawl around that exit. Stay to the left if you’re getting on I-395 North in the immediate future.

Additionally, an accident on I-395 North at Seminary Road is blocking the right shoulder.

8:15 A.M. Update:

The accident on northbound G.W. Parkway has stopped traffic on that roadway right now. Drivers on the scene report cars at a standstill back to beyond the Key Bridge.

8:05 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-395 North before Pentagon City is still blocking the right two lanes.

An accident on G.W. Parkway is blocking all northbound lanes at Route 123, according to WTOP.

7:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-395 North before Pentagon City is now blocking the right two lanes.

An accident on 17th Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW isn’t blocking any lanes or slowing traffic, according to D.C. police.

7:30 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-395 North before Pentagon City is now blocking the left two lanes. Expect this to cause major delays for northbound traffic.

7:20 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-395 North before Pentagon City is blocking the left lane.

7 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is congested around the 14th Street Bridge. This spot tends to remain clogged through the morning rush, so plan your commute accordingly.

6:45 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on eastbound Washington Boulevard has been cleared from the right lane and right shoulder near the ramp from northbound I-395.

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 has been cleared from the left shoulder.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Leesburg Pike has been cleared from the right shoulder.

The accident on I-395 North at Washington Boulevard has been cleared from the right shoulder.

6:30 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on eastbound Washington Boulevard is blocking the right lane and right shoulder near the ramp from northbound I-395.

6:20 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at Chain Bridge Road has been cleared from the right shoulder.

6:15 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-395 North at Washington Boulevard is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Leesburg Pike is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the left shoulder.
