Deer caused Green, Yellow line delays

10:35 A.M. Update: Metro spokesman Dan Stessel says the deer has been removed from the tracks, and normal service is returning to the Green and Yellow lines.

10:30 A.M. Update: Post staff writer Dana Hedgpeth reports that a deer was struck by a train at Fort Totten. Trains are single-tracking between Georgia Avenue and Fort Totten.

10:20 A.M. Update: A deer on the tracks at Fort Totten is causing delays in both directions.

10 A.M Update: The Orange Line delays have cleared.

8:32 A.M. Update:

Orange Line trains are sharing the same track between Cheverly and Minnesota Avenue due to a train malfunction outside of Minnesota Avenue.

There are Orange Line delays heading to Vienna due to a train malfunction at Minnesota Avenue.
