Outer loop lanes blocked at Forestville Rd.

8:30 A.M. Update:

Two outer loop lanes are blocked at Forestville Road due to an accident. The inner loop right off-ramp is also blocked at the same spot.

The accident on the inner loop at Georgia Avenue has been cleared.

Tthe left lane is blocked on eastbound I-66 in Centreville due to an accident. Expect delays approaching this area.

Eastbound I-66 is badly snarled approaching the Beltway.

We’ve heard a report from one driver that southbound G.W. Parkway wasn’t moving north of the Key Bridge a short while ago. If you’re heading that way, expect delays.

An accident at North Capitol and L streets in Northeast Washington might slow traffic there.

8:20 A.M. Update:

The accident on the northbound 14th Street Bridge has been moved to the shoulder; all lanes are open again.

8:05 A.M. Update:

An accident at 19th and K streets in Northwest Washington could slow traffic in that area. There’s also an accident at 16th and P streets and another at 20th Street and Constitution Avenue in Northwest Washington as well as one at 34th Street and Benning Road in Northeast Washington.

7:55 A.M. Update:

An accident on the northbound 14th Street Bridge on the D.C. side is blocking two lanes.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Foresville Road is blocking two lanes and the shoulder.

There’s also an accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Georgia Avenue, blocking one of the shoulders and the right acceleration lane.

7:30 A.M. Update:

Eastbound I-66 is pretty backed up at the Beltway, while the inner loop of the Beltway is slow approaching Gallows Road.

There’s an accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Forestville Road.

And an accident on the outer loop before New Hampshire Avenue could cause delays there.

7:10 A.M. Update:

The accident on southbound I-95 at the Springfield Interchange has been cleared and the lanes reopened.

The disabled vehicle on westbound U.S. 50 before Kenilworth Avenue has been cleared.

6:50 A.M. Update:

An accident on southbound I-95 at the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right outside lane and right shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on westbound U.S. 50 is still blocking the shoulder before Kenilworth Avenue. The right acceleration lane has reopened.

6:30 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on westbound U.S. 50 before Kenilworth Avenue is blocking one of the shoulders and the right acceleration lane.

6:10 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle is blocking the right shoulder on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road.

The outer loop lanes have reopened at Kenilworth Avenue.

So far:

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Kenilworth Avenue/MD 201 is blocking one of the shoulders and the right acceleration lane.
