9:05 A.M. Update:

Watch out for delays stemming from an accident on Massachusetts Avenue and North Capitol Street in Northeast Washington.

An accident on North Capitol and H streets in Northeast Washington is going to cause delays there.

8:45 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Braddock Road is blocking the shoulder on the top of the ramp from the inner loop to westbound Braddock Road.

I-395 North is severely jammed from the Pentagon to the 14th Street Bridge.

8:25 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-295 North before the 11th Street Bridge ramp is now blocking the right lane. The other closed lane has reopen. Still, even with three lanes open, expect headaches approaching this spot.

The disabled vehicle on I-95 South before Powder Mill Road has been cleared and the lane reopened.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Riggs Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

8:10 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-295 North before the 11th Street Bridge ramp is blocking two lanes. Avoid this area or expect major delays.

All lanes have reopened on westbound New York Avenue at North Capitol Street.

An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway at Riggs Road is blocking one of the shoulders.

A disabled vehicle on I-95 South before Powder Mill Road is blocking one southbound lane.

7:55 A.M. Update:

An accident on westbound New York Avenue at North Capitol Street is blocking two lanes and causing major delays. Avoid that area.

And an accident on southbound I-295 at the ramp for Howard Road could cause delays there.

7:40 A.M. Update:

Eastbound I-66 is slow approaching Chain Bridge Road.

The inner loop is delayed in Virginia, with pretty heavy congestion approaching Gallows Road.

7:15 A.M. Update:

The accident on southbound I-395 at South Capitol Street has been cleared and the lanes reopened.

6:55 A.M. Update:

The accident on southbound I-395 at South Capitol Street is blocking two lanes. Expect delays.

6:45 A.M. Update:

An accident on North Capitol Street and Hawaii Avenue in Northeast Washington is severely slowing traffic.

6:25 A.M. Update:

The accident on the inner loop at Colesville Road has been cleared and the lane reopened.

6:20 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop at Colesville Road is blocking one lane.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway north of U.S. 50 in Prince George’s County has been cleared and the lane reopened.

An accident on southbound I-395 at South Capitol Street SE is going to cause delays.

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help: If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

It will be cloudy out there, with rain early and strong breezes later in the day,.according to the Capital Weather Gang.

So far:

— An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway north of U.S. 50 in Prince George’s County is blocking one lane and one of the shoulders.

— An accident on I-95 North in Woodbridge is already slowing traffic approaching this spot.

— An accident on I-295 North at Howard Road is causing delays there as well.
