9:05 A.M. Update | Accident on 14th Street Bridge

An accident on the northbound 14th Street Bridge involving two cars is likely to exacerbate delays on the bridge. It’s generally very slow for traffic heading that way, but watch for additional backups due to the crash.

8:55 A.M. Update | Disabled vehicle on I-295 South

A disabled vehicle on I-295 South at the 11th Street Bridge ramp is blocking the right lane.

8:40 A.M. Update | School bus accident in NW D.C.

There was an accident involving a D.C. school bus in the 1400 block of New Jersey Avenue NW (between O and P streets), police report. There were three students on the bus, but there are no injuries and the bus can still be driven.

MARC Camden Line train 851 is now 12 to 15 minutes late.

8:17 A.M. Update | MARC Camden Line delays continue

MARC Camden Line train 851 is running about 8 to 10 minutes behind schedule.

8:10 A.M. Update | Scattered showers this morning

The latest from the Capital Weather Gang: It’s very breezy this morning, with mostly scattered showers. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening, so keep that in mind for your commute home.

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at New Hampshire Avenue has been cleared.

8:07 A.M. Update | Orange Line issues

An Orange Line train heading to Vienna has off-loaded at Smithsonian due to a door issue. Watch for crowding and delays.

7:52 A.M. Update | Problems on outer loop in Md., I-395 in Va.

There’s a disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at New Hampshire Avenue, but no lane closures have been reported.

An accident on I-395 North at Seminary Road is blocking the left shoulder.

An accident involving a tractor trailer on I-95 North in Woodbridge is blocking the left shoulder.

7:48 A.M. Update | MARC Camden Line issues

MARC Camden Line train 849 is now running 40 minutes late. In addition to running so late, the train is running with two fewer cars than usual, so expect overcrowding on the remaining cars. Metro will honor MARC tickets.

7:40 A.M. Update | No accident on I-395 North in SE D.C.

The police report that nothing was found on northbound I-395 at 8th Street SE.

There was an accident on westbound 395 at 12th Street SE, but all lanes have reopened.

7:30 A.M. Update | Additional MARC Camden Line delays

MARC Camden Line train 849 will now run 20 to 25 minutes late due to crew issues, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.

7:25 A.M. Update | Accident on I-395 North in SE D.C.

An accident has been reported on northbound I-395 at 8th Street SE, according to police.

The debris on I-95 North at Powder Mill Road has been cleared from the roadway.

7:10 A.M. Update | Potential I-95 North delays

Debris on I-95 North at Powder Mill Road could create problems for northbound traffic. No lane closures have been reported yet.

An accident on I-95 North near Woodbridge is blocking the right shoulder.

7 A.M. Update | MARC delays

MARC Camden Line train 847 is running 10 to 12 minutes late due to a crew issue, according to the Maryland Transit Administration.

6:40 A.M. Update | Accidents cleared in Md.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway near Connecticut Avenue has been cleared and the lanes reopened. Watch for lingering delays.

The accident on westbound U.S. 50 at Lottsford Vista Road has been cleared from the shoulder.

And the accident on westbound U.S. 50 has been cleared, so the right off-ramp to the East-West Highway/MD 410 has reopened.

6:25 A.M. Update | Accidents continue blocking lanes in Md.

An accident on westbound U.S. 50 has closed the right off-ramp to the East-West Highway/MD 410.

The accident on the outer loop of the Beltway near Connecticut Avenue is still blocking two lanes and one of the shoulders.

The accident on westbound U.S. 50 at Lottsford Vista Road is still blocking one of the shoulders.

The disabled vehicle on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange has been cleared from the shoulder.

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help.

We’re in for loads of nasty weather today, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Expect cloudy skies, showers, gusty winds and perhaps even some thunderstorms.

So far this morning:

— An accident on the outer loop of the Beltway near Connecticut Avenue is blocking two lanes and one of the shoulders.

— There’s some debris on I-270 South at Falls Road, but no lanes appear to be blocked.

— An accident on westbound U.S. 50 at Lottsford Vista Road is blocking one of the shoulders.

— A disabled vehicle on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder.
