Plenty of MARC delays this morning

8:20 A.M. Update:

There have been a spate of MARC delays this morning, as you can tell from this post. Here’s a roundup of some issues broken down by line:

— Camden Line trains 842 and 840 are delayed

— Brunswick Line train 878 is running late

— Penn Line train 421 could be crowded, because it’s running one car short.

— Penn Line trains 517 and 410 are both delayed

8:12 A.M. Update:

Penn Line train 410 is running 15 or 20 minutes late due to a late crew turn.

7:44 A.M. Update:

Camden Line train 842 is running 20 minutes late heading north due to late equipment.

7:12 A.M. Update:

There are also delays on the Camden Line: Train 842 is running 15 to 20 minutes late due to late equipment, while train 840 is running 12 minutes behind due to a disabled freight train.

6:59 A.M. Update:

Penn Line train 511 is running 15 minutes late due to single tracking.

6:47 A.M. Update:

Penn Line train 517 is running 15 to 20 minutes late heading to Washington.

6:38 A.M. Update:

Penn Line train 511 is now running 10 to 12 minutes late approaching Baltimore Penn Station.

6:08 A.M. Update:

Penn Line train 511 is running 10 minutes late approaching the Edgewood station.

Original Post:

MARC Penn Line train 409 (departing Baltimore at 6:13 a.m.) will be running one car short this morning. This could cause some crowding on that train.

Also, the ticket kiosk at the Halethorpe Station is out of service.
