Eastbound Pennsylvania Ave. reopens in NW DC

10 A.M. Update: All lanes of Pennsylvania Avenue have reopened.

8:35 A.M. Update:

The westbound lanes of Pennsylvania Avenue have reopened at 7th Street in Northwest Washington, according to the District Department of Transportation. Eastbound lanes remain blocked.

The inner loop of the Beltway is backed up approaching I-66.

I-395 North is congested around Duke Street and at the 14th Street Bridge.

8:10 A.M. Update:

A pedestrian was struck at 7th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Northwest Washington, so Pennsylvania Avenue is closed in both directions at this intersection, according to the District Department of Transportation.

7:45 A.M. Update:

The inner loop of the Beltway is backed up around Gallows Road. The earlier accident on the inner loop near Braddock Road has been cleared.

Eastbound I-66 is pretty congested near Nutley Street.

7:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway is blocking the right shoulder near Braddock Road.

7:05 A.M. Update:

The vehicle fire on the outer loop of the Beltway near Bradley Boulevard has been cleared.

6:45 A.M. Update:

The accident on eastbound U.S. 50 has been cleared.

A vehicle fire on the outer loop of the Beltway is blocking one of the shoulders after Bradley Boulevard.

6:30 A.M. Update:

There are some early delays on I-395 North at the Duke Street exit.
