Delays on I-66 East, I-395 North

8:30 A.M. Update:

Watch out for delays caused by an accident at 11th Street and Massachusetts Avenue NW.

A disabled vehicle on I-95 North just before the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder and could cause problems there.

I-66 East remains sluggish at the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge, while I-395 North is very slow at the 14th Street Bridge.

8:05 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on I-95 North at the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder and could cause delays.

I-66 East is slowing down at the Teddy Roosevelt Bridge.

7:50 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-270 South at Rockville Pike/MD 355 and the Beltway has been cleared.

Watch out for an accident in the 400 block of 2nd Street NW.

A disabled car on Southern Avenue and Wheeler Road SE could cause issues there.

7:25 A.M. Update:

An accident on New Hampshire Avenue at Hamilton Street NW could cause problems there.

The accident on I-66 East just east of Chain Bridge Road is now just blocking the right shoulder. The right lane has reopened.

7:05 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-66 East just east of Chain Bridge Road is blocking the right lane and right shoulder.

The accident on 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW has been cleared.

An accident in the 1500 block of South Capitol Street SE could cause delays there.

6:50 A.M. Update:

An accident on North Capitol Street and Michigan Avenue NE could slow traffic there.

An accident has also been reported on 14th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

6:25 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is backed up approaching Seminary Road. A disabled vehicle on I-395 North at Glebe Road is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at Chain Bridge Road is blocking the right shoulder.

The accident on I-66 East at the Beltway has been cleared from the shoulder.

Good morning, commuters! We’re back to rainy, wet conditions for the morning commute and beyond, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Use extra caution when heading out and expect some delays due to the rain.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help: If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

— An accident on I-270 South at Rockville Pike/MD 355 and the Beltway could cause delays there.
