Prince George’s roads remain blocked after Irene

Prince George’s County officials said Monday that 28 county-maintained roads remained closed or partially blocked due to damage from Hurricane Irene.

Access to the roadways are limited to residents and emergency crews.

The following roads are affected:

Angora Drive & Frank Tippett Road

Aquasco Farm Road (17109 block)

Beechwood Lane (8024 block)

Brooklyn Bridge Road (Between Julie Lane & Dougherty Avenue)

Brookwood Avenue (10914 block)

Cheltenham Avenue (9205 block)

Chew Road (near Van Wagner Road)

Croom Station Road (7910 block)

Cross Road Trail (10611 block)

Duley Station Road

East Fort Foote Terrarce (8707 block)

Edgewick Avenue (1400 block)

Eversfield Drive (7006 block)

Friendship Court (6907 block)

Livingston Road (13103 block -near Chalfont Avenue)

Ludlow Drive (5300 block)

Mattaponi Road

Medwick Road (14400 block)

Old Marlboro Pike (13504 block)

Race Track Road (9001 block)

Rollins Avenue (1507 block)

San Juan Drive (5813 block)

Scottish Avenue (Near Branch Avenue)

St. Thomas Church Road (14200 block)

Surratts Road

Trumps Hill Road (7915 block)

Windham Road (6003 block)

Woodland Boulevard (5105 block)

Officials ask drivers to call the county Department of Public Works and Transportation Customer Call Center at 301-350-0500 to report downed trees, fallen wires, flooding or blocked storm drain facilities.
