Original Post:

Good morning, commuters! While most of the area slept, an intense squall line brought severe rain and powerful winds through the region. The squall line has passed, but periodic showers and strong wind gusts will remain in place throughout the morning. In other words, it’s going to be a tricky commute: wet, windy and with some stuff potentially knocked down during the early morning tumult.

We’re going to be keeping tabs on things throughout the morning, reporting what we see and any issues we hear about. But we need your help: Let us know what you see in the comments below or via Twitter (@DrGridlock).

Meanwhile, here are some resources for reporting power outages, downed trees and debris in roadways.
