ART buses delayed by congestion

8:50 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is typically congested this morning. Expect particularly slow spots around Duke Street and before the 14th Street Bridge.

A disabled vehicle on southbound I-95 before Lorton is blocking the right shoulder.

8:40 A.M. Update:

ART routes 45 and 52 are running 10 minutes slower due to congestion, according to Arlington Transit. Expect some delays if you’re using buses along those routes.

8:35 A.M. Update:

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway after Braddock Road has been cleared and the lane reopened.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway north of the Springfield Interchange is blocking the left shoulder.

The accident on I-270 South at I-370 has been cleared.

8:15 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway after Braddock Road is blocking the left lane.

An accident on I-270 South at I-370 is blocking one of the shoulders.

8:05 A.M. Update:

I-66 East is a bit slow at the Beltway and approaching Sully Road.

I-395 North is typically jammed at the 14th Street Bridge, with delays starting to stretch back through much of that roadway.

7:45 A.M. Update:

An accident in the 4600 block of South Capitol Street is blocking one northbound lane, according to D.C. police.

7:40 A.M. Update:

The eastbound lanes have reopened in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

The accident on I-270 South at the exit for W. Montgomery Avenue has been cleared from the southbound local lane.

7:30 A.M. Update:

A fire in the 2400 block of Pennsylvania Avenue NW is blocking two eastbound lanes on Pennsylvania Avenue. Expect delays heading that way.

7:25 A.M. Update:

The accident on I-270 South at the exit for W. Montgomery Avenue is blocking one of the southbound local lanes right now.

7:15 A.M. Update:

An accident on I-270 South at the exit for W. Montgomery Avenue is blocking one southbound lane.

7:05 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway before the Springfield Interchange is blocking the right shoulder.

6:45 A.M. Update:

The disabled vehicle on I-95 North at the Springfield Interchange has been cleared from the shoulder.

The disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard has also been cleared from the shoulder.

6:05 A.M. Update:

Normal service has resumed on the Orange Line, according to Metro. As always, expect to encounter some residual delays.

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help. If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

There could be some light snow this morning, which could mix with rain or change into rain at some point, according to the Capital Weather Gang. Areas west and northwest of the District could see a dusting.

So far:

— The Orange Line is delayed heading to New Carrollton due to an earlier train malfunction at Ballston.

— A disabled vehicle on westbound I-66 at Sully Road in Centreville is blocking the right shoulder. There are already delays approaching this spot.

— Another disabled vehicle on westbound I-66, this one at the Fairfax County Parkway, is also blocking the right shoulder.

— A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is blocking the right shoulder there.
