Original Post:

Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help. If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

We’re in for yet another foggy morning, according to the Capital Weather Gang, so visibility could be an issue again. Be very careful when you head out.

— Southbound Connecticut Avenue is closed from East West Highway to Chevy Chase Circle due to an accident and the accident investigation. Traffic is being diverted at Bradley Lane.

WTOP reports that this will remain closed through the morning rush, so expect major problems if you normally head that way.

— An earlier accident on northbound DC-295 at Suitland Parkway has just been cleared and all northbound lanes reopened.
