Tysons panel to discuss development levels and transportation

A Fairfax County panel has been resurrected to discuss Tysons Corner’s redevelopment nearly one year after officials approved urban building rules there.

The Planning Commission’s Tysons committee will meet at 7 p.m.Wednesday and again on June 29.

At Wednesday’s meeting, the committee will discuss transportation design standards and development levels in Tysons.

On June 29, the committee will consider providing temporary commuter parking at the four Metro rail stations being built in Tysons.

The meetings will take place at the county government center, 12000 Government Center Pkwy., Fairfax.
