Metro union president takes your questions

Metro’s union president Jackie Jeter takes your questions about safety, customer relations, funding and fare issues in an online chat at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Jeter’s union, Amalgamated Transit Local 689, held a town meeting Monday night at MLK Library to hear from riders on Metro’s train and bus systems. This marks the first time the union, which represents most Metro employees and has more than 10,000 members, has held an open forumwith riders in an attempt to get feedback and share information riders.
