2:15 p.m. Update: State officials say two lanes have reopened.

Original post: A crash on U.S. Route 50 eastbound in Prince George’s County has closed the highway, according to state transportation officials.

The accident occurred just east of Lottsford Vista Road. An alternate is to exit at the Beltway or Martin Luther King Jr. Highway, which joins Route 450 to Annapolis. Route 197 will reconnect you with Route 50.
