US Airways adding new flights from DCA

US Airways is adding new flights between Reagan National Airport (DCA) and airports in Florida, California, Canada and other spots across North America.

The first set of new daily nonstop flights begin service on Sunday, March 25. They will connect National Airport to airports in Birmingham, Ala.; Cincinnati; Des Moines; Islip, N.Y.; Omaha; Little Rock and Fayetteville, Ark.; Memphis; and several cities in Florida: Jacksonville, Pensacola, Tallahassee and Fort Walton Beach.

Also beginning Sunday, US Airways will add extra daily nonstop flights between DCA and Hartford. The airline will also begin offering daily flights between Washington and airports in Bangor, Maine, and Savannah, Ga.

On June 8, new flights are scheduled to begin between National Airport and San Diego. On July 11, new flights will be added between National Airport and Augusta, Ga.; Minneapolis; Fayetteville; Montreal and Toronto.
