VRE train canceled, Metro option open

7:20 A.M. Update:

VRE train 304 is approaching Union Station right now, per VRE’s live status map. All other VRE trains are reported as running on time

Original Post:

VRE train 302 has been canceled due to mechanical issues. Train 304 went around train 302 to run its schedule and might be overcrowded. The Metro option has been opened for VRE riders, so just show your VRE ticket to access and exit the Metro.

Train 304 is running 10 minutes late due to crowding and that delay might increase as it picks up more people along the way. Later trains are expected to operate relatively on-time, according to the transit agency.
