Wanted: Pictures of odd, unusual or confusing signs

We recently brought you the story of the Metrobus sign too fancy to say “exit.” This sign, located at Seventh Street and Constitution Avenue NW, told riders that certain routes at the stop were “Alight Only.” Riders
hoping to access, infitrate or intrude upon these routes were not welcome.

This sparked a lot of conversation, but it also raised a question: Have you seen weirder signs around town? We’re looking for odd typos, uncommon phrases or signs that induce confusion (such as two signs offering conflicting parking rules for the same stretch of curb).

Share your oddest signs here. Once we’ve seen your signs, we’ll see if we can find explanations for some of the odder choices dotting our region.
