I-395 N backed up at 14th St Bridge

8:40 A.M. Update:

There are delays on the inner loop of the Beltway approaching U.S. 50/Arlington Boulevard in Virginia.

Delays remain on I-66 East at the Beltway and I-395 North at the 14th Street Bridge.

There’s water in the roadway on westbound New York Avenue at Montana Avenue in Northeast, according to the District Department of Transportation. Stay to the left approaching this spot.

An accident on 9th and R streets in Northwest could cause headaches.

A disabled vehicle on I-395 South near the Sixth Street exit could cause problems there.

There’s debris on the road on the inner loop of the Beltway before U.S. 50 in Maryland.

8:20 A.M. Update:

An accident in the 4300 block of Chesepeake Street in Northwest could cause delays. There’s also an accident at 2nd and H streets in Northwest.

And a disabled vehicle on southbound I-295 at Nannie Burroughs Avenue in Northeast.

7:50 A.M. Update:

I-66 East is backed up at the Beltway and at Chain Bridge Road.

7:30 A.M. Update:

An accident on northbound I-95 in Woodbridge is blocking the right shoulder.

I-395 North is backed up at King Street as well as at the 14th Street Bridge, and I-66 East is slow approaching the Beltway.

7 A.M. Update:

I-395 North is already backed up at the 14th Street Bridge. These types of delays usually remain in place for a while, so you can expect delays for the rest of the morning rush.

6:40 A.M. Update:

Bradley Boulevard is still blocked in both directions by a utility problem east of Burdette Road in Bethesda.

6:15 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at Arlington Boulevard is blocking the right shoulder.

There are already pretty bad backups on eastbound I-66 at Chain Bridge Road.

Happy Tax Day, commuters! The week begins with lovely weather, according to the Capital Weather Gang. There will be a breeze and temperatures approaching the 70s today.

So far:

A utility problem that began last night is blocking Bradley Boulevard in both directions east of Burdette Road in Bethesda.
