Original Post:

Good morning, commuters! Plenty of people will be heading to work after very late nights. The morning weather should be cloudy and warmer, with a potential shower or two, according to the Capital Weather Gang. It’s going to be a wet week for this area.

We’ll be rounding up any headaches, issues or problems we hear about on the roads this morning. Let us know anything you see out there — tell us in the comments below or via Twitter (@DrGridlock).

For now, we should keep our eyes on ongoing road work in the area:

— The New Yrok Avenue bridge replacement in Northeast could still cause congestion in that area. (It could also cause backups on nearby roads as commuters seek alternate routes.)

— There will be single lane closings on Rockville Pike between First Street and Templeton Place during road work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.
