Original Post:

Good morning, commuters! The weather today should be downright “delightful,” according to the Capital Weather Gang. We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help: If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

Things to note this morning:

— Today is International Walk to School Day and schools across the region will be participating. That means there could be a larger number of pedestrians throughout the area, so make sure to use extra caution and watch out for this on your morning drive.

— In case you missed it earlier this week: The left exit from the inner loop to westbound I-66 (exit 49C) is closed. The right exit ramp (exit 49A) will have two lanes to accommodate the extra traffic.

— In case you missed it earlier this week, Part II: The first D.C. Circulator bus route east of the Anacostia River is now operating. Meanwhile, the Convention Center-Southwest Waterfront Circulator route has been eliminated and numerous changes have been made to Ciculator service.
