Accident blocking stretch of 6th Street NW

8:35 A.M. Update:

The 1300 and 1400 blocks of 6th Street are closed due to the accident at 6th and O streets NW. Expect delays in this area.

There are delays on the Blue and Orange lines to Franconia and Vienna, respectively, due to a train malfunction at McPherson Square.

The accident on the inner loop of the Beltway between the exits for University Boulevard and New Hampshire Avenue has been cleared.

8:20 A.M. Update:

An accident has been reported at 6th and O streets NW, so try to avoid that intersection.

8:15 A.M. Update:

The accident on northbound I-395 at 7th Street SW involving a Metrobus has been cleared, with all lanes open and the vehicles involved moved somewhere else, according to D.C. police.

8 A.M. Update:

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway between the exits for University Boulevard and New Hampshire Avenue is blocking one of the shoulders.

The accident on northbound I-395 at 7th Street SW, which involves a Metrobus, isn’t blocking any lanes, according to the D.C. police.

The disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 has been cleared from the right shoulder.

7:55 A.M. Update:

A disabled vehicle on the outer loop of the Beltway at the American Legion Bridge is blocking the right shoulder.

An accident on the inner loop of the Beltway at the Little River Turnpike is blocking the right shoulder.

7:40 A.M. Update:

An accident has been reported on northbound I-395 at 7th Street SW, according to D.C. police.

A disabled vehicle on the inner loop of the Beltway at I-66 is blocking the right shoulder.

7:25 A.M. Update:

Standing water on Barnesville Road has closed the road in both directions between Sugar Ridge Terrace and Peach Tree Road.

The accident on eastbound I-66 at Chain Bridge Road has been cleared from the right shoulder.

7:10 A.M. Update:

An earlier accident on I-95 North before the Fairfax County Parkway was blocking the left lane and left shoulder. It’s now just blocking the left shoulder, but expect some delays around that spot.

An accident on eastbound I-66 at Chain Bridge Road is blocking the right shoulder.

Eastbound I-66 is pretty slow in Arlington, with congestion slowing drivers before George Mason Drive and Sycamore Street.
