Good morning, commuters! We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help. If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

June arrives with lots of clouds, possible shundershowers in the morning and potentially severe afternoon and evening storms, according to the Capital Weather Gang.

So far:

— The water main break at Connecticut Avenue and N Street NW, which closed multiple lanes and snarled traffic around Dupont Circle for most of Thursday, continues to cause problems.

One southbound lane on Connecticut Avenue is open, while two northbound lanes are open.

N Street is still closed between Connecticut Avenue and 18th Street, and it will remain closed for at least two additional days, according to DC Water. Southbound 18th Street is also reportedly closed between N Street and Massachusetts Avenue, while only one northbound lane is open.

DC Water crews continue to work and try to repair the broken main. The work could be complete by noon today.

Expect delays and problems to persist through the morning rush hour, and try to avoid driving through or near the area if you can help it.

— Watch for major delays on the inner loop of the Beltway near the Woodrow Wilson Bridge this morning. The inner loop’s thru lanes are reduced to one lane between the bridge and Telegraph Road due to paving.

A temporary second local lane will be opened between Route 1 and Telegraph Road to ease congestion, and drivers are encouraged to use the local lanes today.

This work began on Thursday at 8 p.m. and should be completed by Monday morning. But this could cause problems for the Friday commutes, so expect delays and use a different route to work if you can help it.
