Weather causing flight delays

Heavy rain and low cloud cover are causing flight delays at some airports.

Delays in the Washington region appear to minimal, but connections through the Northeast may be adversely affected. According to the Federal Aviation Administration, departure delays for some flights heading to New York area airports are more than two hours. Some flights to Boston's Logan Airport may be delayed up to 57 minutes.
