Original Post:

Good morning, commuters! We’re in for more wet and rainy conditions during the morning commute, according to the Capital Weather Gang. There will be a lot of moist air and some fog this morning, which could lead to slick roads, while scattered showers and storms could add to this and cause additional problems. Use extra caution when heading out and expect some delays due to the rain and wet roads.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and we will need your help: If you hear about any congestion, delays, problems or anything at all, tell us in the comments section below or by tweeting @drgridlock.

So far:

— An accident on the northbound Anacostia Freeway at Pennsylvania Avenue SE could slow traffic.

— A disabled vehicle on the northbound I-395 at the Third Street Tunnel could cause problems there.

— An accident on I-270 North at Falls Road is blocking one of the shoulders.
